‘Top 10’ for 11 consecutive weeks, 2nd place for 7 weeks in total

(Seoul=Yonhap News) Reporter Choi Joo-sung = Netflix’s popular anime ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’ OST album maintained its top spot on Billboard’s main album chart ‘Billboard 200’.

Billboard announced in a chart preview article on the 7th (local time) that the OST album ‘K-pop Demon Hunters’ took second place after Sabrina Carpenter’s new album ‘Man’s Best Friend’, which debuted at number one. This is the same ranking as last week.

Stray Kids’ 4th full-length album ‘KARMA’, which debuted at No. 1 on the ‘Billboard 200’ last week, fell three places to No. 4.

The ‘Billboard 200’ ranks the ‘Album Units’, which sums traditional album sales such as physical records, the number of streams converted into album sales (SEA), and the number of digital music downloads converted into album sales (TEA).

The OST album of ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’ recorded an album unit equivalent to 120,000 copies during this week’s chart counting period. The album unit of ‘Karma’ was 61,000 units.

The OST album of ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’ maintained its second place on the ‘Billboard 200’ for the seventh consecutive week. The album, which debuted at number 8 on the Billboard 200, has been in the “Top 10” for 11 consecutive weeks until this week, peaking at No. 2.
