According to court documents recently obtained by the British Daily Mail, Christine filed for divorce in Portsmouth Court, New Hampshire, USA, on August 13. Previously, at a Coldplay performance held in July, she and former Astronomer CEO Andy Byron were caught on a kiss cam and were caught engaging in an affectionate act, which became a global topic.

Chris Martin, who was on stage at the time, warned fans that “their faces could be caught on the big screen,” and soon after, the affectionate appearance of the two was broadcast live. Embarrassed, the two hurriedly hid themselves from the camera, and Martin joked when he saw this scene, “Isn’t it an affair?”

Andrew’s second ex-wife, Julia Cabot, took the news of the divorce without surprise. In an interview with the media, he said, “Right after the scandal, I texted Andrew and he said, ‘Her life has nothing to do with me anymore. We are already breaking up.’”
